Join the H‑Town Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society for a powerful Black History Month celebration centered on land, legacy, and community history. This event highlights the inspiring work of the Pecan Project, dedicated to preserving Black-owned farms and rural heritage.

Guests will learn about the remarkable contributions of Lee Perry, an Oil & Gas Auditor who helped Black families reclaim and protect generational land. The event also includes a community screening of High Horse: The Black Cowboy, followed by a debriefing session with members of the cast, including descendant farmers and series producers.
